This section documents APIs for querying, editing and converting master data in Campari systems.
### Material Master Data
In the table below, you can find a brief explanation of the material master data APIs:

| Retrieve access token | This API allows to retrieve the temporary token used to call the other APIs. |
| Materials administration - Create a Material | This API is used to add a new element to the materials list. |
| Materials administration - Update a Material | This API is used to make changes to an existing material. |
| Materials administration - Retrieve a material | This API is used to fetch a material, using the unique identifier associated to it. |
| Retrieve material types | This API allows to retrieve the material types code with the relative descriptions. |
| Material characteristics - Retrieve material Characteristic | This API allows to retrieve the possibile list of values for each material Characteristic. |
| Material characteristics - Update material Characteristics | This API allows to update characteristics related to a material. |
| Material hierarchy | This API allows to retrieve the Product hierarchy levels. |
| Read SAP table API | This API allows to retrieve info from various SAP tables. |
| Retrieve material UOM | This API allows to retrieve list of unit of measures of a material. |
| Convert material UOM | This API allows to convert the quantity of a material from an unit of measure to another. |
